Location: Hawaii
PUKAMAN was first seen in a competition pod in Maui Nui in 1995 and not sighted again by PWF until 2016. During the most recent sightings of this whale in 2020 and 2021, the Research team was able to successfully launch a UAS (drone) over the animal to get aerial morphometric measurements.
